Wow! I wish I had done this on a bigger canvas! I can feel the strength and the power of the wave.

Wheat field

Simple, yet effective and satisfying. I can't decide if I should paint a bright, detailed wheat stalk in the forefront, or leave it as is. For now I will leave it.

Rogue River Bridge

I painted this from a picture I took in Grants Pass Oregon by the Rogue River. I painted this in stages, over a very long period of time - first the sky, then the background trees, then the water, then the bridge, then the reflections, then the highlights on the bridge. I suppose I could have added more detail to the reflection, but I was afraid to screw it up! I like it!

Thought I would give Bob Ross another go. I like this style for making mountains, but not for clouds and other foreground details. It's okay, I guess.
